Choosing the layout

Each month is drawn as a grid of seven columns and up to six rows, sized to fill the page with generous boxes for writing. Week numbers and week start

Many workplaces and schools refer to “week 14” rather than dates. The ISO 8601 standard defines week 1 as the week containing the first Thursday of the year, with weeks starting on Monday; tick the option to print those numbers beside each row. Separately, you can start each week on Monday or Sunday to match local custom. Weekend shading helps the working week stand out at a glance.

Adding your own events

Type each event on its own line, starting with the date in year-month-day format, for example “2026-07-04 Independence Day” or “2026-03-15 Mum’s birthday”. Events are printed in small text inside the matching day box. Because every country has different public holidays, copy your country’s list from an official government site into the box once, and keep the text for next year.
