This maker produces a clean, itemised receipt with subtotal, discount, tax or VAT, tip and total, in the currency you choose. Print on a thermal roll like a till receipt or on A4 and US Letter paper for formal records.

Tips for best results

• Number receipts sequentially – tax authorities expect unique numbers.
• Include your tax or VAT ID in the address box where required.
• Tick “Prices already include tax” for VAT-inclusive pricing common in Europe and Australia.
• Email the PDF to customers to save paper.

Tax, VAT and GST

Enter the tax rate as a percentage. If your prices exclude tax, the tool adds it on top of the discounted subtotal, which is typical for US sales tax. If your prices already include VAT or GST, tick the option and the receipt shows how much of the total is tax without changing the price. A discount percentage is applied before tax, and a tip or service charge is added at the end.

Item format

Write one item per line as quantity, x, description, @ and unit price – for example “3 x Notebook @ 4.25”. A line such as “Delivery 5.00” counts as one item. The tool calculates line totals and shows the grand total live.

Honest use only

Receipts must reflect real transactions. Creating fake receipts to claim expenses or refunds is fraud in every country.
